Ok, you know you are ready to get away from the snow and take a tropical vacation. I have a place for you to check out. I'm sure I don't have to tell you how amazing Costa Rica is. Well, try a little north in Nicaragua in the beach town of San Juan del Sur.
When you are searching for San Juan del Sur hotels, make sure you check out La Posada Azul. The name means "The Blue Inn". This is a beautiful hotel that is comfortable and small enough to make you feel special. Housed in a historic home, there are seven lovely rooms with all the comforts you need including wireless Internet, a pool and a tropical garden. Not only that, but you will be just a hop, skip and jump from the beach. This has got to be the most charming Nicaragua hotel you will find for the most memorable vacation you have ever had.
San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua is a quaint little fishing town located about 40 minutes from the Costa Rican border. While there you can enjoy the local shops, fishing, surfing and even exploring volcanoes. Volcano exploration is on my to-do list by the way. :) If you go, drop me a note.
